Prof. D. Kannan

A graduate of the esteemed Madras Medical College, he completed his MBBS in 1981, followed by an M.S. in General Surgery in 1986 and an M.Ch. in Surgical Gastroenterology in 1995 from the same institution. In recognition of his contributions, he was awarded an Honorary FRCS by the University of Glasgow in 2009. He began his career in government service in 1986 and has remained an active member of the teaching faculty. He has authored over 20 international publications.
